Blog Love

Recently I was once again given the lovely tag of blog adoration ... both Couture Carrie and Loveology have given me the "I Love Your Blog" tag and award, and so now it's my turn to share the love with 7 of my favorite blogs. I know. 7! Only 7! Really, either I need to start reading less blogs or you guys need to make your blogs a little less loveable. (Kidding!)

And besides stating the blogs I love, I'd like to tell you, just why I love them, or what it was that made them stand out in my eyes amongst other blogs. Because really, everyone and their mother has a blog these days!

So without further ado...

Loveology - What can I say? I love Loveology! I love the lovely Mila! I love the gorgeous scrapbook like collection of pictures! And I love the inspiration I always find there! Loveology is simply lovely love love indeed!

Leese Looks - Lisa (the author of Leese Looks) should be the poster girl for the phrase "Anything you can wear, I can wear better!" in regards, of course, to girls stealing from their boyfriend's closet and wearing his clothes better than he does. Lisa has an inspiring style of her own, and personally, I think she really needs to be elected as a Vogue consultant for her home of South Africa! (Well, if such a thing as "a Vogue consultlant" exists...)

I'm Not Anti-Social, Just Short-Sighted - I've only been reading Karen's blog for a short time, but I've already be won over by this fashionista who looks as if she's emerged from a book of the best 60's fashion. Besides her fabulous dress, she also knows how to engage her readers with her words and pictures! And for the icing on the cake, I love that she reminds me of Mathilda (played by Natalie Portman) in the movie Léon.

Fashion Does It Better - If I could change this blog's title I would change it to: Penny & Maud Do It Better, because really, they do. FDIB is by far my favorite blog chronicling models and their careers. Not only is FDIB packed with pretty pictures, but their narration is lyrically beautiful.

Couture Carrie - What I love most about Couture Carrie is the way it's both focused and bursting at the seams with gorgeous pictures. With such a wealth of pictures, readers could easily get lost, however CC chooses a (always well selected) subject for each entry, and then spoils us with a jackpot of lovely examples! CC just might be a saving grace to fashionistas like me who might be well, a tad too lazy to look up so many examples of a trend of interest. Thankfully we have CC, who is always working hard for us to bring us the best!

Daisy Chain Dreams - Daisy (aka Laura... but really, she's stuck in my mind, always, as Daisy) is a girl who is not only beautiful and stylish, but she keeps it real too. Sometimes I feel there's a missing link of personalization in blogs, but Daisy not only delievers the fashion we want, but let's us pull back the curtain and have little peeks into her life. She writes so honestly, you can't help but feel that she's your friend, even if you never met her.

Stompface - Personally I think there's a lack of humor on the blogosphere, and Stompface not only brings you lovely outfits to attention, but she always does it with a bit of wit and humor.



What can I say, ladies? Your blogs are more addicting than coffee in the morning...
