Today I got a little crafty, and made this very (very!) mini-mag/editorial. I was inspired by some fashion magazines whose editorials are more a work of art than fashion. All of the pictures are my own snapshots (I'm a sorry self-photographer, I know) and that is me in all the pictures.
I haven't done any design work in a while, so I'm awfully rusty, as well as, I had a time limit and had to make these in a jiff.
I don't think this last page really corresponds with the other pages... I was trying to tone it down, and keep it simplier. However I think it turned out a little too rough and stiff. If I had time, I'd do it over.
Tell me what you think! I'm not so sure... I don't usually to like to have my own pictures and such on my blog, because I feel like it spoils the quality (versus the other pictures I usually post, which are done by much more talented folks, and much lovelier to look at ;)

If I saw this in a newstand, I'd buy a copy in a heartbeat - and tell all my friends to do the same.
I love these pictures - the design is excellent and I love how the black text and illustrations contrast with the light colours of the photos/background.
And I'd love to see more photos of you too - your photos are just as great as the ones you post.
PS. If you do ever come to Australia, I'll let you have free reign of my wardrobe :D
Wow, excellent job on this! Even though it doesn't look like the other pages, that last one is actually my favourite. I think the composition is really nice, the b&w photo is lovely and the little illustration and words underneath it are a great touch. Simple and beautiful!
