DIARY, ZIMA (WINTER)

Photograph by Michael Williams

The night sky dimpled with stars, softens upon the bearded snow’s beauty. Gypsy breezes tempt golden tendrils, tangled at the nape of the neck, to join in the wind’s free spirited circus, galloping ‘round the globe with no tenderness for the hemlines it lifts, the featherlight things it upsets.

The night is always darkest from within.

susanna, you shall reach the highest mountains your soul lusts after, for it is only through wide open, love-seeking eyes that the pain of climbing can truly be cherished, so the travel is never stopped, always progressing.

i have read your post about travelling alone as a woman on fb, and these two strings of thoughts just braided so beautifully. stay brave and unorthodox in mind and heart. whenever you lose sight of the earth, stars shine more bright.
